Policies and Procedures

Booking Policies for In-Studio and Mobile Appointments:

  • A non-refundable deposit of $25 is required to secure your appointment, which must be paid via E-transfer to eminentallure@gmail.com. If the deposit is not received within 24 hours of booking, the appointment will be canceled

  • If you need to cancel your appointment, please provide 24 hours' notice via email. Kindly note that deposits are non-refundable. However, cancellations made with at least 24 hours' notice allow you to transfer your deposit to a future appointment within 30 days. After this 30-day period, the deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, the deposit will not be refunded and the deposit will not be transferable. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or causes beyond our control, the Makeup Artist reserves the right to cancel an appointment. Should this occur, the Client's deposit will be fully refunded, and both a phone call and a cancellation email will be sent to the Client using the contact information provided at the time of booking. Additionally, if possible, the Make-up Artist will refer you to another makeup artist in the event they are unable to perform agreed upon services.

  • A $20 late fee will be applied if you arrive 15 minutes late to your appointment. If you are 25 minutes late, the appointment will be canceled, and the deposit will be forfeited. Should you be running late, please notify us promptly via text or email at eminentallure@gmail.com.

  • In the event a Client requires an appointment with a start time earlier than 8:00 AM, the booking must be made via email, and an additional $50 fee will be applied to the service fee.

  • Currently, we only offer travel services for group appointments of three or more persons. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate travel services for single-person appointments. However, wedding and photoshoot bookings are exempt from this policy.

  • Entourages, children and PETS are strictly prohibited from appointments. Please do not bring additional persons to your appointment.

  • Please have your brows groomed prior to the appointment. Any other facial waxes or threading must be done a week prior to your appointment

  • The Client agrees to inform the Makeup Artist regarding any allergies or sensitivities the Client may have to any type of makeup, products, or ingredients. The Makeup Artist must be informed of allergies on or prior to the appointment date. The Client is permitted to bring their own makeup if they have sensitivities or allergies. In the event that an allergic reaction occurs, or any other type of skin or bodily reaction occurs, regardless of whether medical attention is required, the Client and/or service recipient(s) acknowledge and agree that the Makeup Artist(s) are not and will not be held liable or responsible for any injury and/or ailment of any kind.

  • We kindly ask that you refrain from eating or drinking during your appointment, with the exception of water. Also, please refrain from using electronic devices such as, cellular mobiles, iPads/tablets, iPods/MP3s etc., during your appointment. These devices are not only disruptive, but they also make it difficult for the makeup artist to provide an optimal application.

  • Please share any makeup inspiration photos with the Makeup Artist via email prior to your appointment, or have them ready to present during your appointment. This will give the Makeup Artist an idea of the look you want to achieve.

  • The final balance is to be paid in cash (CAD). E-transfer payments are also accepted; however, payment must be sent prior to the start of your service. The Makeup Artist reserves the right to delay services until the e-transfer has been successfully receive

  • By sending a deposit, the Client acknowledges, agrees, and consents to the Makeup Artist taking of photograph(s) and/or video during and/or after the Services provided by the Makeup Artist. The Client hereby grants EMINENT ALLURE the irrevocable and perpetual right, title and interest including without limitation, the perpetual right and permission to copyright and/or use, re-use, modify, duplicate, distribute, and/or publish in any way they see fit, without restriction, the Client's name, face, image, likeness, statement and/or voice (collectively, the “Image”), in any media, portfolio, promotional marketing materials and/or social media capacity worldwide, without any compensation to the Client. I acknowledge EMINENT ALLURE is and will be the sole owner of all rights in and to the Images or any material created in connection to the Image. If a Client prefers not to have their photo or video taken, it is the Client's responsibility to inform the Makeup Artist during the appointment.

Disclosure: By sending a deposit you acknowledge that you have read and hereby agree to accept the above terms and conditions set out in this booking policy outlined by Eminent Allure.
